Once a bustling gold mining community, Crystal Valley earned its name after an unusual occurrence took place: overnight, the Scoop's Gold Mine dried up only to be replaced by crystals! Now, you can visit and pan for crystals or stop by the Electric Lagoon for a neon jellyfish swim accompanied by a glowworm backdrop. Visitors may want to keep their eye out for a unique bird, too. Neighborhood Features

Crystal Valley has an expansive residential areas, it is split into mainly two parts: mainland and island. The mainland serves as the heart of the neighborhood, and the island is located north of the mainland, it is home to some of the landmark of the neighborhood, like Love Highland and Electric Lagoon. Along the coast of the neighborhood, Sims can go for fishing or Panning for Crystal in shallow water, it is an exclusive activity to this neighborhood where Sims may get crystals or collectibles from it. The neighborhood is also home to the Sunrise, Sunset Festival

Mainland

The neighborhood town square.

The mainland is where most of the lots in the neighborhood are located. The town square sits at the central-northern part of the mainland along the riverbank. Two bridges are available to cross the island to the north: one to the east and another to the west. The Stop 'n Know Center serves as the neighborhood's help center. Just west of it, Sims can swim or kayak toward the lake in the north.

Stop 'n Know Center

Stop 'n Know Center is located within the town square of Crystal Valley, right next to the Fearful Fish Lounge. Similar to Butterfly Ranger Station, Sims have number of interactions to locate some notable features in the neighborhood:

Scoop's Mine

Scoop's Mine is an abandoned mine located in the northwestern part of the Crystal Valley mainland. A mini stall stands right in front of the old abandoned wooden house, where Buddy Scoop, the Gibbi Point Collector, can usually be found during the day. Sims can ask him about collectibles, sell their collectibles, or challenge him to a game to earn new collectibles. Plumbird Cave Painting can also be seen on the giant rock along the path.

Playground

A public playground is located right next to the Crystal Cottage, it has a playground set, archery board, and picnic tables with papercrafting kits where Sims may use it. A public bathroom is also available at the corner.

The Island

The island along the lake overlooking Love Highland.

The river splits the island from the mainland to the south, and to the north, it has a expansive lake for Sims to swim or kayak in. This island is home to some of the most important features of the neighborhood.

Electric Lagoon

Electric Lagoon is located on the eastern part of the island, it is accessible by crossing the eastern bridge and walk to the right path. It functions like any other body of water in the world, where Sims can swim in the lagoon or pan for crystals in the shallow part. At night, Sims can Touch Glowworm on the corner rock of the lagoon, causing the glowworms on the rocks to light up. Sims who swim in this lagoon will receive a +2 inspired moodlet.

Peculiar Plumbird Nest

The Peculiar Plumbird Nest is located in the central part of the island, east of Love Highland, nestled among the trees. Pruella Preener the "Peculiar Plumbird" can be seen next to the nest most of the time, Sims can Dig Your Talons into Peculiar Plumbird Lore or View Plumbird Nest.

Peculiar Plumbird Fossils

A Plumbird fossil can be found in the central part of the island, it is accessible by crossing the eastern bridge and walk to the middle path. Sims can View Fossil Artifact or Investigate Plumbird Evidence (part of Peculiar Plumbird quest).

Butterfly Topiary

The topiary, located in the central part of the island, it is accessible by crossing the eastern bridge and walk to the left path and enter the pergola, it is an interactable object for Sims. They can:
