Confident is an emotion available in The Sims 4. It can evolve into very confident. It occurs whenever a sim does something successful. It provides a boost to charisma skill gain, and social interactions will have a higher chance of succeeding.

• Pee Like a Champion: When a Sim is confident, the options for using a toilet is replaced with 'Pee like a champion'. However, there is no difference between the 'Peeing like a champion' and the normal peeing interaction

• Admire Self (Mirror interaction)
• Psych Self Up (Mirror interaction)

Supportive Traits and Events

These traits affect how often a Sim is confident:

• The Self-Assured trait
• Jealous Sims will become confident around their romantic partner
• Snob Sims will be confident around other snob Sims
• Bros will be confident while watching sports
• Mean Sims will be confident after winning a fight
• Ambitious Sims get confident after joining people in a job
• Geek Sims will be confident after finding a collectable
• Loyal Sims will become confident around their romantic partner and/or close friends, as well as standing up with their friends
• Socially awkward Sims will become confident to nearest Sims who are familiar with them, such as close friends
• Nosy Sims will become confident when giving an unwarranted advice to other Sims
• Skeptical Sims will become confident if they refuse proving their powers from occult Sims

• Convivial - while socializing
• Good Schools - after school (children and teens only)
• Romantic Aura - while romancing other Sims

• Getting a Lotus Blossom Aromatherapy massage on the massage table
• Participating in a club gathering with active Confident Vibes club perk
• Eating Pufferfish Nigiri at a higher survival rate
• Successfully snooping in someone else's private journal
• Consuming Gutsberries
• Listening to Summer Strut music during summer season

Object Auras

Dead/Alive aliens, confident paintings and various The Sims 3 rewards are examples of items with a confident object aura. Rewards for the Secret Agent and the Business careers have a confident aura as well.

• Flower arrangements scented with Bird of Paradise
• Jewelry and gemstones crafted from Amazonite , Hematite, Rainborz, Rose, or Turquoise. Jewelry effects are only active when being worn, and gemstones only active when Sims are nearby them.

Careers and Jobs

Sims with these jobs or careers will gain work performance if they go to work while confident.

• Retail Employee - Teen part-time job.
• Secret Agent - Until branching to Villain/Diamond Agent.
• Criminal - Boss branch.
• Politician
• Athlete - Bodybuilder Branch.

Trivia

• Internally, Very Confident is referred to as "Fearless".
• Using a laser pointer while confident will make the light match the emotion's color and take on the shape of a star.
