Depending on how they manage their Competitive Spirit, these Sims can either become an inspiration for Sim excellence or bask in the toxic pits of the abyss and become the ultimate sore loser!"

This trait features a Reward Trait: Competitive Spirit, which determines how gracious a Sim is when winning and how salty they are when they lose. There are four levels of Competitive Spirit:
- Excellent: A Sim will always Contain their Rage about Loss after losing and modestly Celebrate a Win over their victory!
- Good: A Sim will likely Contain their Rage about Loss after losing and modestly Celebrate a Win over their victory!
- Bad: A Sim will likely Rage about Loss after losing and Over-Celebrate a Win over their victory!
- Abysmal: A Sim will always Rage about Loss after losing and Over-Celebrate a Win over their victory!
To improve a Sim's Competitive Spirit level, they could:
- Encourage Healthy Competitive Spirit
- Offer Competitive Skill Tips
- Celebrate a Win
- Successfully Try to Contain Rage about Loss
Contrary to that, to decrease a Sim's Competitive Spirit level, they could:
- Over-Celebrate a Win
- Fail to Try to Contain Rage about Loss
