Claude René Duplantier Guidry, or Guidry for short, is a ghost NPC introduced in The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff. Guidry appears in haunted houses on the second night that a household lives there. He can be asked about how to deal with haunted houses, specters and cursed objects. He also has an ongoing feud with another ghost named Temperance, and can help protect the household when she shows up. In The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories, a message in a bottle written by Guidry reveals he left Temperance for her sister, heavily implied to be Bonehilda. He is also an unlockable townie in The Sims Mobile.
As a ghost in The Sims 4, Guidry always glows pink, since he has a permanent flirty mood, and a painting of him claims he died by a Murphy bed accident. A different painting claims he lived from 1883-1920, making him 37 years old at the time of his death.
According to the description of a chair in build mode, Guidry is bisexual and has dated both men and women, including Temperance. However, both his romantic and WooHoo preference as well as whether he is exploring romantically or not has not been updated for the recent patch regarding sexual preferences and orientations.
