Chris Roomies is a pre-made female Sim that appears in The Sims for PC and The Sims console version. In the console version she wears a blue shirt, blue jeans with flowers and pink slippers and has short blonde hair. She lives with her roommate, Melissa Roomies. In the console version they live at 3 Sim Avenue, an empty house with a big garden outside. In The Sims they are in the family bin, ready to be moved into a vacant house or onto an empty residential lot.
Melissa and Chris do not appear in The Sims 2 or any of the later games, and what happened to them is not mentioned, however they can easily be created. In The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff, two Sims that looked like Melissa and Chris appeared in a preview wearing similar clothes they wore in the console version, but it was not confirmed that they were really Chris and Melissa. If they were, that was the last time they were shown to the public.
Chris uses the same head skin as Bella Goth and Princess Zaghawa Maximus, though all three characters use different skin tones, resulting in similar but non-identical appearances. According to SimEnhancer, Chris Roomies was the fourth Sim created in Neighborhood 1.
A different version of Chris appeared in Japanese copies of the game, with completely different facial features and a slightly darker shade of blonde hair.
Her head appeared as the face on the instant quick meal box in The Sims. Though it's clearly never referenced to be her and it's quite common for Sims to share the same heads, it is possible that she's a model.
Trivia[]
- Chris and Melissa are the only playable sims from the base game of The Sims not to appear in any of the sequels.
