Child of the Islands is a lifestyle trait that was introduced in The Sims 4: Island Living. It conflicts with the child of the village[TS4:FR] trait.
"These Sims experience a spiritual connection to islands of Sulani. Honor the islands by partaking in their culture, summon powerful elementals and reap the rewards of their blessings—or the consequences of their disfavor."
Attributes[]
Sims with this trait feel attached to the islands of Sulani. They get positive moodlets when making kava or using the BBQ pit but will get negative moodlets when not engaging with island culture. They can summon island elementals and ask for their judgement. If they've participated in island culture, like throwing kava parties or restoring Mua Pel'am, they will be rewarded with positive moodlets that can boost relationship and career gains and success. Children with this trait always pass the elementals' judgement, but do not get the unique boosts. This trait is required to encounter island elementals and thus the Sulani Mana trait.
