Celebrity awards are a type of object in The Sims: Superstar and The Sims 3: Late Night.
The Sims: Superstar
Sims can receive these awards when they complete several Superstar features.
- The Canister is an award that can be given to Sims following excellent performance in acting jobs. It comes in Golden, Silver, and Bronze variants.
- The Twang is bestowed upon singers who have consistently sung well in Studio Town. It comes in Golden, Silver, and Bronze variants.
- The Figure is given to Sims who have achieved high performance in the modelling world. It comes in Golden, Silver, and Bronze variants.
- The Simmy Award is awarded to a Sim for their high standing in the fame career. In general, Superstars who earn this award receive it from Marilyn Monroe, when she comes to their home lots. Some Celebrities also earn this award.
- The Sim Choice Award is given to those Sims who have high relationships with the fans, specifically the townies with the last name 'Anybody'. They wander around Studio Town, and can compliment famous Sims or ask them for autographs.
The Sims 3: Late Night
In The Sims 3: Late Night, Sims in the actor or director career tracks can get celebrity awards for their work. They will be given the Sim Choice Award at level 7 of the career; the Green Orb Award at level 9, and the Simmy Award at level 10.[1]
