Carmelo Lothario is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Mama, the father of Nicolo, and the grandfather of neighborhood womanizer Don. Although he is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his grandson.
According to his SimDNA in SimPE, Carmelo's hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 37 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Carmelo is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE.
Like Romeo Monty, Carmelo has a hat that is not available in Create a Sim, unless CAS is placed in debug mode. It's very similar to the hat that Priam Albion wears, but when compared to Priam's hat, Carmelo's hat is shinier and is placed on close crop hair (the same hairstyle of Abhijeet Deppiesse).
