Buster Clavell is a pre-made playable elder Sim, residing in Sunset Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 3. He is on his 8th day as an elder at the start of the game, which makes him the oldest playable Sim in the base game.
Buster lives with his wife Bessie and, much to his disapproval, his near-adult son Xander. He is a retired Starter (level 6) in the Professional Sports Career track. His father, Ransom, and mother, Jennie, are deceased and buried at the Pleasant Rest Graveyard. Both his parents drowned as adults. It is likely that Buster lost his parents while he was quite young due to some kind of accident.
Buster is friends with Beau Andrews and acquainted with the next-doors Hart family. He dislikes his son and wants to kick him out so that he can live with peace and quietness without his son creating a "racket," as implied by his bio.
Buster will normally die of old age if story progression is enabled.
