Brenda Zaidi is a pre-made deceased mail carrier who resided in Strangetown, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. She drowned as an adult and is buried in Olive Specter's garden. Not much more is known about her. She shares her last name with Seth Zaidi, but there is no evidence that the two are related. Strangely, Olive has no memory of her death; most likely an error by Maxis. She uses the 15th face template, the same one Mama Lothario has. According to SimPE, Brenda had 100 days left in the adult life stage when she died. This is due to her age data being written in a format that is incompatible with the game's final version. Danielle Greaves has a similar issue. When Brenda's ghost appears, her lower jaw will be abnormally visible; this is a result of damaged data, and changing her face to the same template will fix the oddity. Lerato Muenda shares this quirk.

Contrary to popular belief, Brenda is safe to resurrect, though she may be glitchy. This will not cause the neighborhood or game to become corrupted.

It is possible that in some earlier version of the game, her name was once Alan Zaidi, as this is the name that was used in some translations of the game.
