Boyd Wainwright is a pre-made adult Sim who lives in Sunset Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 3. He lives with his wife Susan Wainwright, who is also an adult. Their daughter, Blair Wainwright, is a young adult who lives with four roommates.

Boyd works in the Science career track at a lower level than his wife, as he is not as much of a Workaholic as she is. At the start of the game, he has 4 skill points in Gardening and 3 in Handiness, the skills needed for his career. When the family is first played, Boyd is 11 days from being an elder.

His hair seems white or greying, but it's actually pastel mint green with pastel blond streaks if you look closely in-game or in CAS.
