Beverly Castor is the matriarch of the Castor Family, living in Twinbrook in The Sims 3: Ambitions. At the start of the game, she is unemployed and does not have any skill points, but has the "Chess Legend" lifetime wish. She is friends with her younger son Thomas, but is enemies with her older son Jeffrey. She is happily married to Robert Castor, whom (according to the family bio) she met through a dating website. Beverly's hairstyle, like Eva Drudge's, is only available by using the makeover station or cheats.

The Castor family is a typical 1950's suburban family who believe in good morals and traditional values. They even live in a 1950's Cape Cod-style house.

Although she does not have the Bookworm trait, her bio states that she would like some book club time. This may be a hint that she would like a little more free time than she currently has.
