Beverly Castor is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Twinbrook from The Sims 3: Ambitions. She lives with her husband, Robert, and their two sons, Jeffrey and Thomas.
Beverly is implied to have met her husband through a dating website. On the third date, he proposed and now they are married and have two sons. When the game starts, Beverly is friends with her younger son but is enemies with her older son. Her hairstyle, like Eva Drudge's, is only available by using the makeover station or cheats (unlockoutfits on).
The Castor family is implied to be a stereotypical 1950's suburban family that believes in good morals and traditional values, with the wife following the will of the husband, as Beverly's own biography implies. This also justifies why she is a stay-at-home mom. It seems that the Castor's believe in stereotypical gender roles, with Beverly being a housewife and Robert working a full-time job.
Although Beverly does not have the bookworm trait, her biography hints that she would like some time for book reading too.
She has brown eyebrows with blond hair, meaning that she may have dyed it.
