Benjamin Burb is one of the pre-made, yet unplayable, deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Susan, the father of Brad, the grandfather of John, and the great-grandfather of Lucy. Although he is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his grandson.
According to Benjamin's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was blond before it turned gray. According to his age data, he had 9 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, he is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third-party programs, such as SimPE.
Though Benjamin's character data was deleted, regenerating him with SimPE is a tad easier than most dead ancestors, as his facial features are almost, if not identical to, those of the 22nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim, unlike most "unresurrectable" Sims that have customized facial features.
