The Art and Love household is a pre-made playable household residing in Twinbrook, the world shipped with The Sims 3: Ambitions. The household consists of Buddy Bailey, a self-proclaimed artist who seems to be unable to earn enough for a living yet, and Gala Ball, a girl who likes to party. Despite their family bio referring to them as a "couple", they aren't in fact romantically involved; furthermore, Gala has a love interest, DeAndre Wolfe, who is an acquaintance of Buddy's without any apparent jealousy developing between the two. However, the player can choose to develop their relationship any way they like.
Buddy and Gala both share the eco-friendly trait, but otherwise don't have a lot in common as roommates, other than being friends.
Buddy and Gala are both mentioned in two of the object descriptions from The Sims 4: Movie Hangout Stuff. A pair of paintings available in the pack were apparently painted by Buddy, and the original buyers met both Buddy and Gala when purchasing them.
Onomatology
- Gala: when used as an adjective, means "showy" and/or "festive". It might be a reference to her party-animal personality.
- Ball: a formal dance. May also be a reference to "having a ball", in the sense of having a good time.
