When the family is first played, Andrew is 27 days away from becoming an elder, which makes him far too young to have a teen son. The reason for this is that they were created in Create-A-Sim, but an in-universe explanation could be that Andrew had access to the Elixir of Life at some point in his life. Andrew bears a faint resemblance to Alan Cho, a townie from Bluewater Village. Andrew is voiced by David Boat.
Andrew shares a passion for video games with his son, and also the case with his son, he has a job in the Gamer career track. They enjoy gaming together, as stated by Jacob's bio, and also both have the same set of interests.
