The family consists of [[Iqbal Alvi]] and his two sons, [[Miraj Alvi]] and [[VJ Alvi]]. Their poverty can stem from the fact that Iqbal works in the business industry, but his lifetime goal is to simply have a perfect aquarium, hence his little drive to earn. Before the game, it is implied through their bios that Iqbal was married to an unknown woman, who got fed up for unknown reasons and abandoned her husband and sons. This caused a rift between Iqbal and his son VJ, who believes that his mother left because of his father. However, other than the biographies, there is no memory or record of a Mrs. Alvi.
