Alonzo Contender is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the son of Lando and Kadri Contender, the husband of Marisela Contender (née Ellis), the father of Carlos and Santana Contender, the grandfather of Isabel Baldwin (née Contender), and the great-grandfather of Sofia and Marcus Baldwin.

Alonzo is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Fortune aspiration, and the Gemini zodiac sign. As far as personality, Alonzo is very active, and quite outgoing. But he is somewhat sloppy, and quite serious and grouchy. According to Alonzo's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was red before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 12 days left in the elder life stage when he died.

Alonzo uses the 4th Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except for the eyebrows and the jaw. If he is resurrected and aged down to an adult, it becomes clear that his eyebrows and jaw use the 21st face template, which is one of the two broken face templates. The jaw is also shorter than on the default template. However the jaw is only shorter on teenage, adult, and elder males, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down.

Alonzo's SimDNA in SimPE shows that he carries the recessive allele for brown eyes. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Alonzo still has memories of Carlos and Santana's births, and his granddaughter Isabel getting engaged and married.

Broken face

This Sim uses one of the "broken" Maxis face templates. When he/she grows up to the next life stage, his/her facial structure will be different.

Resurrection tip
