Adventurous is a lifestyle trait in The Sims 3: World Adventures and The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.

The Sims 3: World Adventures

Adventurous Sims enjoy traveling and exploration more than other Sims, are able to go on new trips sooner, and improve their Visa levels more quickly.

Attributes

• Adventurous Sims get the "Adventuring" moodlet every time they travel and while adventuring in a tomb.
• Adventurous Sims can travel to another trip sooner than other Sims; the "Visited (Location)" moodlet only lasts for 28.8 hours instead of the normal 2 days.
• Adventurous Sims gain Visa levels 20% faster than other Sims.
• Adventurous Sims will take more time to get the "Stir Crazy" moodlet, at approximately 9 days.
• Adventurous Sims will have wishes while on tomb more often than other Sims, such as "Fully Explore a Tomb," "Find a Hidden Door," or "Sleep in Tomb." Wishes like "Escape from Tomb" rarely appears.
• Adventurous Sims will not fear traps in tombs.

The Sims 4: Snowy Escape

This trait is first available as a child, and it conflicts with the lazy trait.

These Sims seek out new and unique experiences!

Attributes

• Adventurous Sims do not panic when there is a fire, and will immediately try to put it out.
• Adventurous Sims get bored when eating quick meals.
• Adventurous Sims will get a happy +1 "On An Adventure!" moodlet when going on an excursion, vacationing at a destination world, visiting planet Sixam, working in the secret agent career, or riding an aqua-zip.
• Adventurous Sims can browse blogs for new adventures on their phones or computers.
• Adventurous Sims get an inspired moodlet from eating gourmet food or experimental food from The Sims 4: Dine Out.
• Adventurous Sims can get bored from performing the same skill too often.
• Adventurous Sims have tolerance for all food in The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure, without the need to increase the Selvadoradian culture skill.
