An actor trailer is an object that usually portrays the fame status of a Sim. It is featured in The Sims: Superstar, The Sims 3: Late Night, and The Sims 4: Get Famous, and functions differently in each game.

The Star Trailer is a toilet introduced in The Sims: Superstar for Sims in the Fame career who have at least two stars. It can only be placed on community lots. Sims with two or more stars can use it to restore bladder and comfort, but if a Sim outside of the Fame career, or with fewer than two stars, tries to use it, they will literally be kicked out.
In the default layout of Studio Town, the Star Trailer can be found in Fairchild Film Studios, Meeker Studios, and the Midlock Multiplex. Basically, it is found on almost every lot that has objects dealing with acting, with the exception of the Midlock Multiplex.
If a superstar (Sims with stars over their heads) goes in the trailer, other Sims cannot use it while they are in there, but the player can choose the option "Play In" as a precursor to WooHoo. Sims who do not have at least two stars will still be kicked out, though.
If a famous Sim goes inside a trailer while in a neutral mood, they may occasionally open up and call out to anyone. If they're in a bad mood, they will hastily open it, yell angrily, then slam the door close.

The Professional Actor Trailer is a prop introduced in The Sims 3: Late Night, and is unlocked when a Sim reaches Level 10 of the Acting branch of the Film career. It is a rabbit hole where Sims can go inside to sleep, change outfits, throw star tantrums, and even WooHoo in it, though they may get caught by a paparazzi.
The star tantrum interaction is unique to the trailer and gives the Sim a +25 moodlet for 5 hours. Any Sim can perform a star tantrum inside a trailer regardless of their careers or celebrity status.
The Actor Trailer can be placed on a Sim's home lot. Like gifts that are received from work and other Sims, it is usually placed in the family inventory. It cannot be bought on public lots, nor bought in Buy Mode on residential lots, without gamemods.
The Sims 4: Get Famous[]
Actor trailers reappear in The Sims 4: Get Famous as decorations only. Unlike previous fame-themed expansion packs, trailers are not usable.
