The Sims 3: After Dark was rumored to be the 3rd expansion pack for The Sims 3. On July 18, 2010 'EP3' was spotted at a Belgian retail store, though it was not listed as 'After Dark'. It had a release date of October 28, 2010[6][7].

Confirmed as The Sims Medieval

Domains such as 'simsmedieval.com' and 'thesimsgetmedieval.net' were purchased on May 26, 2010. Infinite Sims speculate a release of January - March 2011 if this is a new 'The Sims' title[9]. SmartSims (Dutch site) has reported that a bunch of 'The Sims 3 Realm' domains has been bought. A release of this game is rumored to be March 24, 2011[10][2]. This date puts it close to the rumored launch of the 3rd stuff pack.

2010 EA Showcase

Attendees at the event got a sneak peek at EA taking The Sims through space and time[11] behind closed doors. The speaker mentioned he couldn't reveal more on camera as they were under an embargo (possibly referring to a Non-disclosure agreement).

Finally SimPrograms could report that The Sims Medieval was an entirely new spin-off series from The Sims, more akin to Life Stories and RPG's than the life simulation we know[12]. SimPrograms, and soon after The Sims Resource, pulled the articles from their websites the same day they were posted[13], with TSR giving an explanation where the article used to be.
