Para introducir los trucos, es necesario pulsar a la vez: 'Ctrl' + 'Shift' + 'C'. Entonces aparecerá la consola de trucos, donde se pueden introducir los códigos descritos a continuación. Para salir de ella, basta con pulsar 'Esc'. |
Los siguientes trucos únicamente podrán ejecutarse durante una partida normal dentro de un solar:
- Kaching: Ofrece 1000 Simoleones.
- Motherlode: Ofrece 50.000 Simoleones.
- Moveobjects On / Off: Activa el libre desplazamiento de los objetos por el solar.
- Aging On / Off: Evita que los Sims que estés utilizando envejezcan.
- Autopatch On / Off: Permite reactivar las notificaciones que te informan de la existencia de una actualización para Los Sims 2. Simplemente dirígete al "Visualizador de contenido personalizado". Si está disponible una actualización, se te preguntará si quieres descargarla.
- Stretchskeleton #.#: Cambia la estatura de tu Sim. Desde 0.1 hasta el valor que tú elijas.
- Boolprop choosecameraspecialeventenabled True / False: Si tu ordenador es lento y/o las opciones de tu juego no permiten activar la cámara de sucesos especiales, con este truco podrás activar dicha cámara. Para hacerlo funcionar, deberas dirigirte al menú de "Opciones de cámara".
- Boolprop snapobjectstogrid True / False: Con este truco podrás activa la posibilidad de colocar objetos evitando que se ajusten a la maya del juego.
- Boolprop simpleterrain True / False: Optimiza gráficamente las texturas del terreno del solar.
- Faceblendlimits On / Off: Activa la posibilidad de retocar los rasgos faciales de un Sim hijo para ajustarlos genéticamente a los de los padres.
- Vsync On / Off: Mejora el rendimiento del juego, aunque la calidad gráfica se verá afectada.
- Help: Muestra una lista con todos los trucos del juego.
- Help [Nombre del truco]: Muestra información concreta del truco indicado.
- Exit: Cierra la ventana de trucos.
- Expand: Expande la ventana de trucos.
- Gameversion: Muestra la versión del juego.
- Boolprop allobjectlightson True / False: Permite activar los objetos de iluminación aunque no se estén usando.
- Boolprop locktiles True / False: Este truco activa la posibilidad de colocar baldosas fuera del terreno del solar en el que nos encontremos.
- BoolProp simshadows True / False: Activa las sombras de tus Sims.
- Boolprop displaylookatboxes True / False: Muestra la posibilidad de visualizar a donde mira tú Sim, y que es lo que está mirando.
- BoolProp displaypaths True / False: Muestra el camino que seguirá nuestro Sim.
- Boolprop renderselectedsimlevel True / False: Con este truco activaremos la posibilidad de que las paredes de la vivienda en la que nos encontremos se oculten.
- Boolprop guob True / False: Elimina las sombras de los objetos que están dentro de la vivienda.
- Boolprop objectshadows True / False: Elimina las sombras de los objetos que están fuera de la vivienda.
- Boolprop showfloorgrid True / False: Muestra la maya del juego, en el modo comprar y construir.
- Boolprop lotTerrainCanvas True / False: Mejora gráficamente el fondo de las piscinas.
- Boolprop lotterrainpaints True / False: Permite ocultar el suelo del solar.
- Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true: Pulsa las teclas Shift N, y teclea éste código en el creador de familias, antes de empezar a crear el Sim. Se desbloquearan muchas novedades, ya que podrás utilizar varios tipos de ropa, aparecerán nuevos tonos de piel, y muchas cosas más que podrás descubrir.
- También, puedes usar este truco mientras te encuentres en un solar. Introduce el código, pulsa Shift y el botón izquierdo del ratón. En un Sim u objeto, podrás descubrir nuevas opciones, como la de elevar tus necesidades, seleccionar otras aspiraciones, y mucho más...
- Los siguientes trucos únicamente podrán ejecutarse mientras se esté en un barrio.
- Terraintype Desert / Temperate / Dirt / Captivate: Cambia el tipo de terreno, (algunos requieren ciertas expansiones).
- Deleteallcharacters: Borra todos los Sims del barrio en el que te encuentras.
- Intprop maxnumofvisitingsims #: Cambia el número máximo de invitados a una fiesta en los solares del barrio en el que te encuentras.
- Boolprop carscompact True / False: Hace que los vehículos se vean más detallados.
- Boolprop showlotpackagefilename True / False: Te muestra el nombre del solar, cuando pasas el cursor por encima.
- Boolprop lotterrainlighting True / False: Se elimina la iluminación que se añade a los solares al pasar el cursor por encima.
- Displayneighborhoodroadswithmodel True / False: Elimina los puentes del barrio.
- Boolprop displaylotimposters :True / False: Oculta los solares.
- Boolprop displayneighborhoodflora True / False: Oculta la vegetación del barrio.
- Boolprop displayneighborhoodroads True / False: Oculta las carreteras.
- Boolprop displayneighborhoodprops True / False: Oculta los objetos decorativos.
- Los siguientes trucos unicamente podrán ejecutarse mientras se realiza la grabación de un video.
- Slowmotion 0 - 8: Permite activar y ajusta el valor de cámara lenta.
- BoolProp enablepostprocessing True / False: Activa el uso de trucos de postproducción. Ten en cuenta que debes disponer de una tarjeta gráfica capaz de manejar píxel shaders para que este truco funcione correctamente. Si utilizas este truco sin tener píxel shaders, lo más probable es que la pantalla se ponga en negro y la imagen no vuelva hasta que desactives "enablePostProcessing". Si activas la postproducción y también activas las cinemáticas y la reproducción de cinemáticas, es posible que sufras fallos gráficos inesperados.
- Bloom R G B #: ( RGB = color, # = 0.0 - 1.0 ). Éste truco produce un efecto borroso similar al utilizado en series televisivas para representar un recuerdo o salto al pasado. Para que este truco funcione, debe haberse introducido antes Boolprop enablepostprocessing true.
- Filmgrain 0.0 - 1.0: Este truco añade un efecto de grano a la imagen. Para que este truco funcione, debe haberse introducido antes Boolprop enablepostprocessing true.
- Letterbox 0.0 - 0.5: Añade un efecto de formato panorámico a la imagen. Para que este truco funcione, debe haberse introducido antes Boolprop enablepostprocessing true.
Neighborhood Cheats
- changeLotZoning [residential | community | greek | dorm | secretsociety]
- This changes the zoning type of the lot. Before rezoning a lot using this cheat, make sure there are no Sims currently living in the lot. To use this cheat, enter the lot that you would like to rezone, and then enter the cheat, choosing one of these zoning options.
Warning
Do not change a residential lot that has been or is occupied to another lot zoning type, such as a community lot. Doing so may corrupt the neighborhood.
Build Cheats
- boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation [true/false]
- Allows objects to be placed at a 45 degree angle by pressing the < or > keys; clicking and dragging to rotate will only rotate in the normal 90 degree increments.
- Some objects may not work correctly when placed diagonally.
- Sims can walk through certain objects that are placed at a 45 degree angle, such as multi-grid objects.
- deleteAllFences
- Deletes all fences on the lot. Must be in build mode to use this cheat.
- deleteAllWalls
- Deletes all walls on the lot. Must be in build mode to use this cheat.
- deleteAllHalfWalls
- Deletes all half walls on the lot. Must be in build mode to use this cheat.
- deleteAllAwnings
- Deletes all awnings on the lot. Must be in build mode to use this cheat.
- deleteAllObjects [doors/windows/stairs]
- Deletes the type of object specified on the lot. Must be in build mode to use this cheat.
- IndividualRoofSlopeAngle [15-75]
- Adjusts the pitch of individual roof sections on the lot. To use, enter the code and, while holding the ^ Ctrl and ⎇ Alt keys, click on the roof section(s) to be adjusted.
- This cheat was broken when Pets was first shipped, in that the cheat could be used but changes would not be saved with the lot. Install the Pets patch to fix this.
- roofSlopeAngle [15-75]
- Adjusts the angles of all roofs on the lot, measured in degrees. Acceptable values are 15 to 75.
- boolProp dormSpecificToolsDisabled [true/false]
- Setting this to false enables build/buy mode tools that would normally be disabled when in a dorm lot. It also works for community lots, although any changes made to the lot will not be saved.
- setHighestAllowedLevel [number]
- Sets the amount of floors allowed. Do not build any higher than 16 floors, or the game will crash.
- This cheat works sporadically in later expansions, and does not work in the base game. To build higher, the "Dormer Trick" can be used to build one more level up; simply build to the highest level possible without cheats, build a dormer, and then build a wall on the new level. The dormer can be safely removed after this.
Gameplay Cheats
- boolProp petActionCancel [true/false]
- Allows the player to cancel interactions in a pet's queue.
- boolProp controlPets [true/false]
- Allows the player to control pets in the same manner as other Sims.
- boolProp disablePuppyKittenAging [true/false]
- Toggles aging for puppies and kittens. Does not work on adult animals; use the regular aging [on/off] cheat for this.
- boolProp petsFreeWill [true/false]
- Toggles free will for pets.
- addneighbortoFamilycheat [on/off]
- Enables an interaction on non-controllable Sims to add them to the current household.
- forceTwins
- Forces a single-birth pregnancy into a twin pregnancy. The pregnant Sim must be selected before entering this cheat.
- setHour [0 - 23]
- Sets the hour of the day in 24-hour time. For example, setHour 13 will change the game's clock to 1PM, while setHour 1 changes the clock to 1AM.
- unlockCareerRewards
- Unlocks all career rewards for the currently selected Sim.
- maxMotives
- Maximizes the needs of all Sims. Will not affect Servo's Power motive or PlantSim motives. Not useful for restaurant owners (Who wants customers that aren't hungry?)
- motiveDecay [on/off]
- Enables or disables motive decay for all Sims on the lot. If motive decay is off, the needs of Sims will not decrease.
- lockAspiration [on/off]
- Enables or disables decay/gain for the aspiration bar.
- aspirationPoints [amount]
- Gives the selected Sim the specified amount of aspiration points, so they can buy aspiration rewards. Won't affect the aspiration bar.
- aspirationLevel [0-5]
- Affects the Sim's aspiration level, displayed in the aspiration bar. 0 drops them into failure, 5 gives them platinum. Will not affect aspiration reward points.
- ageSimsCheat [on/off]
- Enables a "Set Age" option that appears when clicking on a Sim, which allows you to easily change their age. It will also appear on all objects, although it will not work.
Storytelling Cheats
- plumbbobToggle [on/off]
- Toggles the display of the plumbob, good for moviemaking/picture taking. Will not work in a Userstartup.cheat file.
- showHeadlines [on/off]
- If set to off, will remove thought and speech bubbles, as well as relationship change graphics. Will not work in a Userstartup.cheat file.
Miscellaneous Cheats
- setLotLightingFile [filename]
- Used to create a new lighting file with specific lot lighting values. Only intended for experienced users.
